- Temperature Sensitivity: Whipped body butters are sensitive to temperature changes, especially during transit on warm or hot days. As a result, the butter may soften or even melt slightly, altering its original texture.
- Refrigeration: Should you receive a whipped body butter that has softened or melted during transit, I recommend placing it in the refrigerator for a short time before opening. This will help restore its intended consistency.
- Effect on Quality: The softening or melting of our whipped body butter does not affect its quality or moisturizing properties. You can still enjoy its amazing benefits as a moisturizer, even if the texture may be slightly different.
- Whipped vs. Balm-like Consistency: Whipping my body butter incorporates air bubbles, giving it a light and fluffy texture. When the butter melts and solidifies again, the air bubbles may collapse, causing a denser, balm-like consistency. This does not diminish the efficacy of the product, but it may change its appearance and texture.
- Whipping It Again: If you prefer the original whipped texture and notice a change due to melting, you can try to restore the fluffiness by scooping out the butter and whipping it again using an electric mixer. Please make sure the butter is very cold before attempting this.
